Completed steps

The Friends taskday completed the steps along the path up to the Beadnell Road Glade, we filled the steps with type 1 hogging and put some path edging in to stop the materials been washed away if it rains and to protect the colony of violets that grow along the path which is important for the Dark Green Fritillary butterfly and also put and handrail to aid people with less mobility.

The friends do a range of tasks from September to March from litter-picking to meadow improvement. if interested please contact the friends for further information.
