Friends of Garthorne Road Nature Reserve are a group of residents and others whose objects are:

  1. To conserve and restore and improve the reserve as an area of ecological significance an increase the biodiversity of the reserve.
  2. To promote the benefit of inhabitants of London and in particular the Borough of Lewisham by advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
